Hello, Hi, Remember Me? It’s been a minute, but I’m excited to be back. I don’t like admitting my downfalls, but I have completely been stuck in a fog since May.
I’m proud of myself for what I’ve been able to accomplish this year at work and in my relationship, but I’m also extremely stuck in my eating disorder recovery. My diet has been a mess, I’m not sleeping well, I feel like I’m on the verge of crying all the time, I’m anxious, stressed, and I have no sense of self worth. I’m terrified that I’ll be a disappointment to myself and my family. I have this repeated pattern where I’ll have a few good days, then in a blink of an eye I’m catapulted me back to the negative space.
However, I know I have the drive, the fight, the work ethic, and the passion to succeed. Now it’s time to hook into the belief that I will succeed and be determined to reach my goal of freedom.
Last week I started reading Bright Line Eating by Susan Peirce Thompson. You can read more about it HERE, but I’m hoping by following the BLE lifestyle I’ll feel satisfied, empowered and healthy as the weight releases itself.
I hope you can follow me on this journey. I’m not expecting instant results or gratification, but I am looking for peace. I want to use this blog as accountability and a place for reflection.
