We all know an accessory can turn any look from boring and bland to cute and chic! While we could dream for a celebrity’s closet fill of endless accessories; that just isn’t going to cut it in my mini NY apartment.
These are the accessories I reach for on a weekly, if not daily occurrence. To me, they’re all investments that I attempt to keep them clean and in good quality. What’re your favorite accessories?
HANDBAG: My all-time favorite handbag is the COACH Crossbody Dufflette. I’ve had mine for three years, and I love it. It’s lightweight, amazing quality, and holds everything. For work, my new favorite bag is similar to this Lauren Ralph Lauren Millbrook Market Tote in Field Brown. They fit EVERYTHING, plus I love that there’s open space, and big center zip pocket.
BACKPACK: I swear by the MARC JACOBS Biker Nylon Backpack every single time I travel. I was lucky and grabbed it at an unbeatable price during a Bloomingdale’s Flash Sale a year ago. It’s durable, easy to clean, and super chic.
WALLET: I’ve gone through plenty of wallets, but last Christmas I got the KATE SPADE Cameron Street Kinsley wallet as a gift. I love that it’s a foldover and has room for ALL of my miscellaneous cards, loyalty cards, etc.
SUNGLASSES: I go back & fourth between my Prada (style: PR24QS) & the Ray-Ban Aviator Flash Lenses in Bronze-Copper Lilac Mirror.
COSTUME JEWELRY: My favorite inexpensive more costume, everyday jewelry is always from INC by Macy’s.
KEY FOB: I’ve broken like five keyfobs since I’ve lived in NYC and currently I’m using this Aztec Designed Keyfob from MakeYourselfDesigns shop on Etsy. Love it so far!
PHONE CASE: I use the OtterBox Firefly in Razor Blue, it had great reviews on Amazon and the print is super cute. I’ve even dropped my phone a few times, and nothing has happened (fingers crossed).
HAT: ’47 Brand Hats are my favorite; especially on a summer day with some jean shorts and a white tee. They’re comfortable, cute, and can cover up a bad hair day in a second! They also started coming up with very color combos like dark grey and pastels, so you can rock your team while looking chic.
